Audi introduces the A1 Citycarver, a design that resembles the A1 Sportback. The B-segment car was introduced as a slightly more complex off-road inspired version of its rival Ford Fiesta Active.
Audi introduces the Audi A1 Citycarver, the new B-segment car. Standing out with its design based on the standard A1 Sportback, the Citycarver has larger wheels and higher suspension set-up, so it stands higher above the ground. In addition, compared to all the brand’s Allroad models, this model has a slightly more city-oriented crossover design.
In front of the car, unlike the Citycarver standard A1, there are two slots under the bonnet line and a matt black honeycomb grille. At the rear of the car, the bumper has been redesigned to provide a bumper similar to the Audi Q2 and Q3 models.
The Audi A1 Citycarver will be available in two petrol models. One of them will be 114 horsepower 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged 30TFSI, and the other one will be 148 horsepower 1.5 liters 35 TFSI. In addition, the car will have 9 color options. Apart from the color of the car, the color of the roof can be selected as gray or black.
The interior trim of the car has copper, mint, orange and gray accents. Voice control, Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a digital music system are standard in the Citycarver, which is a trip computer with a touch screen. Citycarver’s Advanced model will have different levels of equipment, while interior lighting is available according to mood, while the S Line version features leather trim, roof spoiler, and larger alloy wheels.
The Audi A1 Citycarver is expected to be available in the UK from September. The Citycarver’s standard model is expected to be £ 30,000 although nothing has been reported yet.
